Brittany Cope

Brittany Cope is a Consultant in Mercenarius’ People & Transformation practice, where she partners with senior leaders and organizations to drive clarity, cohesion, and impact through periods of complexity, reinvention, and growth. With a foundation in performance psychology and deep expertise in narrative strategy, Brittany helps clients lead with presence, align stakeholder messaging, and shape the cultural tone of major organizational moments.

She specializes in crafting high-stakes communication strategies, guiding executive teams through leadership transitions, rebrands, restructurings, and enterprise-wide change. Brittany’s approach blends intellectual rigor with creative insight, enabling organizations to tell more powerful stories (internally and externally) and empowering leaders to show up with authenticity, clarity, and command.

Over her 15-year career, Brittany has served as a coach, facilitator, producer, and educator, working across industries and geographies. She is particularly adept at unlocking team alignment, advising on voice and influence, and translating complex visions into compelling, accessible narratives. Her toolkit includes leadership development, cultural narrative strategy, executive presence, stakeholder alignment, and curriculum design.

Clients rely on Brittany for her rare combination of strategic sharpness and deep emotional intelligence. Whether leading immersive leadership retreats, advising on internal transformation efforts, or coaching senior executives in moments of visibility, she brings a disciplined yet human approach to transformation - anchored in storytelling, trust-building, and performance under pressure.

In addition to her work at Mercenarius, Brittany currently serves as Lead Practitioner of Acting at the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art (LAMDA), where she mentors the next generation of performers and leaders in voice, presence, and the power of narrative. Her earlier career includes roles as director, producer, and coach across Canada and the UK, shaping her into a uniquely interdisciplinary strategist.

She holds an MFA in Actor Training and Coaching from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, and a BFA in Acting from the University of Windsor.
