He has advised institutional investors, asset managers, and executive teams across a broad range of transactions, providing strategic counsel on capital and corporate structuring solutions. His work spans sectors including mining, energy, real estate, financial institutions, life sciences, and alternatives -always with a disciplined focus on risk and downside protection, capital efficiency, and long-term value creation. Over the course of his career, Wiz has worked on transactions with an aggregate value exceeding $10 billion.

A professional services business builder, Wiz co-founded a boutique investment bank and complementary private capital dealer platform, where he led or co-led mandates across M&A, special situations, and financing transactions. He developed particular fluency in advisory and capital solution mandates which were often in high-stakes, time-sensitive contexts requiring precision, discretion, and ultra-sound judgment.

Versatile in skill set and experience, Wiz advised a sophisticated client roster in the M&A and Corporate Securities groups at powerhouse law firms Allen Overy Shearman and McCarthy Tétrault. In such capacities, he advised on multiple international IPOs, listings, and capital market offerings - acting on behalf of both issuers and underwriters. In these roles, he played an integral part in transaction advisory and execution, driving deals to close.
